Chris has practiced law in the Indianapolis Area in both State and Federal Court for the past 20 years.
Raised in Plymouth, Indiana, Chris obtained a Psychology degree from DePauw University, where he played college baseball and met his wife, Jennifer. Together they have two children, a daughter and son, and love taking trips as a family.
Chris graduated from Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis in 2001. He began his legal career at Hostetter & O’Hara where his practice was primarily focused on civil and commercial litigation. In 2003 Chris joined the regional law firm of Javitch Block & Rathbone. At Javitch Block, Chris served as the firm’s Indiana managing partner and compliance office for over 10 years. In 2013, Chris took a position at Simon Property Group as corporate counsel in Simon’s Legal Collection and Bankruptcy Department. At Simon, Chris handled and resolved disputes with Tenants at properties across the United States.
Chris was excited to join forces with Jason Cleveland and Meghan Lehner in 2016 to form Cleveland Lehner Cassidy. At CLC, Chris focuses his practice on landlord/tenant disputes, commercial litigation and defending the rights of employees before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and in Federal Court.
His pastimes include cycling, golf, going to the movies, and coaching his kids’ various sports teams. Chris is avid fan of the Colts, Notre Dame football, IU basketball, and his beloved Chicago Cubs.
